Year 9/10 Overview
There are three courses available for study in GCSE Design & Technology:
No matter which course you opted for at the end of year 8, everyone will spend the first two years of the GCSE course learning new skills and developing old skills. Each course content is covered in a series of mini-projects, which will give you the opportunity to practice these new skills and produce quality outcomes. These will prepare you for your individual Controlled Assessment task in Year 11.
Some of the projects you might undertake in resistant materials/product design include:
